My name is Erika (and that's with a 'k') and I'm a front end developer driven by curiosity. I am currently focusing on building things with JavaScript, and creating inspiring content for new developers.

I recenty completed a career change into tech, and I love connecting with other developers on their (lifelong) journeys through code.
These are what I am most comfortable with. I am currently focusing on learning React more deeply, however I am always interested in learning new things. I am also interested in learning how to make web apps more inclusive and accessible and would like to venture into making full stack applications in the future.
I usually try to keep myself occupied with learning new things and engaging in new experiences.
Recently, I have been a guest on a few podcasts and can't wait to share those with you. In the meantime, I have been working on recording YouTube and Twitch videos and starting a blog. I'll also be presenting at my first conference in Summer 2020, at Render ATL!
